Most of our work comes from people who know someone. If you send a business our way and they become a paying client, we'd like to thank you for it. There are two ways this works: one for our clients, one for people who work with local businesses every day.
Clients get a personal link in the Client Hub. Partners get a code from us on request.
The business you send gets $100 off its website build, or off its first monthly bill if it isn't getting a build.
Nothing is owed on a sign-up alone. Once their first invoice is paid, your reward is issued.

A roofing client mentions us to the supply house they buy from. The supplier passes the link to another contractor who needs a site. The roofer gets a free month of an add-on; the contractor gets $100 off the build.
An accountant hears a client complain that the phone rings and nobody calls back. She sends them our way. Once they've paid, she earns $250 if the business pays $499 or more in its first 90 days, or 20% of its first payment (up to $100) on a smaller service.
An agent who works with local trades keeps our link in their email signature, with a line saying they may earn a referral fee. Once a business he sent has paid, he earns $250 if the business pays $499 or more in its first 90 days, or 20% of its first payment (up to $100) on a smaller service.
The business has to be new to Detroit Web Agent and pay its first invoice. You can't refer yourself or a business you own. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the reward is reversed. The full details are in the referral program terms.
